Job Summary
This is a temporary adjunct faculty appointment within the Carsey School of Public Policy at the University of New Hampshire. The Carsey School is widely known for its research, policy education, and civic engagement work. The school publishes policy-relevant research briefs, offers four master's degree programs, and brings people together for thoughtful dialogue to address societal challenges.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Serve as academic teaching staff for selected credit course(s) within Carsey School of Public Policy
- Provide lectures to accomplish established course objectives and support student learning
- Assess student academic performance and submit final grades at course conclusion
- When applicable, provide guidance and supervision for teaching assistants
- Offer open office hours
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent years of experience in the appropriate field of study
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Ability to design and deliver comprehensive course content
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
