Your role:

You will be responsible for the “O licence” fleet across all 9 regions within BT Group and ensure that these vehicles are fully compliant through a combination of field and office-based audits, this will require you to be named on a licence.

You will work closely with the retained fleet org and Head of Compliance to ensure our fleet maintenance suppliers are managed appropriately, ensuring they deliver on their contractual compliance commitments and that BT Group deliver on theirs.

You will audit TMs to leverage best-practice and legal compliance and report all findings to the Head of Compliance.

You will hold responsibility for a set of assets with an annual spend of c£160m and be responsible for arranging all external audits using ACE & Logistics UK.

About you

  • Previous experience within the transport industry or transferrable skills within compliance
  • Proven experience of fleet management across a varied fleet including heavy goods, light vehicles and plant.
  • Hold a national CPC is preferential however in some instances we may support candidates through their CPC qualification.
  • You’ll work collaboratively, building trust, delegating, and negotiating with stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Be proactive in your approach, managing your own time to ensure compliance across your geographical region.
  • Be comfortable to challenge and implement the right course of action to ensure compliance and safety across the fleet.
  • Live within your geographical region.
