Operations is one of the largest divisions in the firm and has diverse responsibilities, including correctly settling and recording millions of transactions per day, identifying and mitigating all operational risks, developing strong client relationships and partnering with technology to realize the full potential of IT and e-solutions. Throughout, the Operations department continually seeks ways to improve while actively supporting the development of new businesses, structures and markets.
Firmwide Operations includes Shared Services and Banking Operations (SSBO), Operations Risk and Regulatory Control, Global Project Group and Metrics, Branch Operations and Divisional Management. Shared Service and Banking Operations delivers industry leading operational solutions by aligning the right functions, people, processes and tools into ten core disciplines offering tailored client service levels that are efficient, controlled and compliant with regulation. Our core disciplines include: Asset Servicing, Cash Management, Client Data Management, Global Banking Services, Loans Servicing, Network Management, Payments (Wireless and Disbursements), Reconciliations, Settlements and Tax Operations. Operations Risk and Regulatory Control ensure adequate controls are in place, through providing an integrated risk and control framework to govern, assess, mitigate and manage financial and operational risk in Operations.
The Disclosure of Interest and Regulatory Reporting team (DOI) is a key component of Operations Risk and Regulatory Control and ensures the firm remains compliant with substantial shareholding and short position reporting requirements. DOI works closely with Operations, Technology, Finance, Compliance and Business Units to collect information, provide and implement guidance, implement controls and mitigate risk. We are looking for detail oriented self-starters who will challenge processes and controls, as well as be proactive in identifying and resolving issues. Education Level: Master's degree in finance

> Experience in regulatory reporting, operational risk, compliance or control teams.
> Strong data analytical skills - understands the strategic business needs and desired outcomes.
> Ability to interpret the results in the business context, assess usefulness of results, and allow building of strategies based on the outcomes.
> Understands the underlying risks in the process and able to propose mitigating controls.
> Able to drive process independently and identify improvement opportunities.
> Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload as necessary.
> Team-player, with the ability to also work independently.
> Innovative and creative - able to challenge the existing processes and status quo.
> Pragmatic and analytical problem-solving skills.
> Good at taking initiative with ability to drive projects forward to completion.
> Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
> Attention to details and able to prioritize functions and tasks.
> Has the ability to absorb information and learn quickly.
> Strong sense of urgency, accountability and ownership and proactively escalates issues / roadblocks.
