The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and analytical Enterprise Portfolio Manager to lead the evaluation and alignment of corporate projects across the organization. This newly created role will be responsible for developing and managing a standardized prioritization framework, ensuring that projects are aligned with Medavie’s strategic goals and that resources are allocated for maximum impact.
What You’ll Do:
Lead Corporate Project Prioritization
Develop and manage a standardized project prioritization framework and scoring model
Facilitate portfolio review meetings with senior leadership
Analyze project proposals for feasibility, ROI, risk, and resource requirements
Maintain a centralized project portfolio dashboard and reporting
Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization including Strategy, Risk, Finance, IT, Operations, and other departments
Identify and resolve conflicts in project priorities and resource allocations while working in collaboration with stakeholders
Continuously improve prioritization processes based on feedback and evolving needs
Support Strategic Decision-Making
Prepare briefing materials and recommendations for executive leadership
Conduct scenario planning and impact analysis
Support resource allocation planning and governance policy development
Ensure compliance with internal controls and strategic alignment
Act as an advisor on prioritization best practices
Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as a neutral liaison between business units
Navigate divergent priorities and facilitate consensus
Engage with senior leaders (SVPs, VPs, Directors) and project teams regularly
What You’ll Bring:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
5+ years of experience in project management, strategic planning, or portfolio management
PMP, PfMP, or Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset
Knowledge & Skills
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation abilities
Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet)
Financial acumen and understanding of ROI analysis
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement
Knowledge of the finance, insurance, technology, and/or health sectors
Bilingualism in English and French is a significant asset
