Job Description
With our exciting new Z Rewards Loyalty Programme comes new job opportunities – we are looking for a Mātanga Whakarite Pirihongo Loyalty Personalisation Specialist to join the tīma.
We love our customers and especially love it when they keep coming back to enjoy Z! In this role you will be involved in creating world class loyalty experiences. We have some pretty exciting mahi happening and more is planned – this is where you come in!
Taking your love of data to drill into customer behaviour you will relay informative proactively and reactively to inform strategies to grow customer value. Working with our marketing and offer strategy teams you will connect our strategic objectives with insights to uncover key customer segments, drivers of behaviour and opportunities to grow customer loyalty.
You will need to be hands on with the data, capable of taking a strategic approach but know where to focus on and have excellent communication skills to explain to a variety of audiences.

You will have the opportunity to
- Provide data driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making within the loyalty programs
- Leverage your curiosity, data acumen and storytelling skills to analyse customer attributes, trends and behaviours and then present these to key stakeholders
- Feed learnings into a roadmap of opportunities for reusability, efficiency and automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build efficient, scalable and reusable data systems and models
- Provide reporting regularly and bespoke and identity opportunities, presenting the why
- Be at the forefront of Z’s industry rewards programme, Z Rewards!
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to Z
- A highly curious and analytical mindset, capable of understanding the wider strategy and leveraging analytics, insights and market research to understand customer behaviour and inform future initiatives
- Great problem-solving skills, with an eye on how we can do things smarter
- Full competence to determine and analyze trends from data and use of analytics and visualisation tools such as SQL, Python and Power BI)Strong experience with interpreting data by examining patterns, trends, relationships, and implications to draw meaningful conclusions and answer critical questions
- Experience with creating reports, and review and presenting reports
- Strong communication skills to present data to technical and non-technical audiences across a range of levels
- Excellent prioritisation skills, we are working at pace and priorities will change quickly – you will need to be nimble and have the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise as needed
- A drive for success and to contribute to a world class loyalty programme at Z

The base salary range for this role is $108,300 to $127,400 per annum, plus 15% STI based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
