Director of Practice Operations - Inpatient Medicine and Critical Care ServicesKey Responsibilities:
· Provides operational leadership in partnership with CPC Directors of Clinical Practice, aligning clinical and operational strategies across assigned service lines
· Collaborates with physician leaders to support provider satisfaction, retention, and alignment with Bronson’s goals
· Supervises all assigned Practice Managers within Inpatient Medicine, Critical Care, and Pulmonary Services, ensuring operational excellence, team development, and alignment with clinical and organizational goals across hospital-based and specialty care settings.
· Oversees hospital-based and associated ambulatory operations, including staffing, access, scheduling, and service line development
· Leads performance improvement initiatives in coordination with the Bronson Management System, emphasizing quality, safety, and efficiency
· Develops and monitors operational budgets, staffing plans, and workflows to support financial health and care delivery goals
· Supports accurate charge capture, revenue optimization, and reduction of denials in close coordination with clinical teams
· Ensures regulatory compliance and readiness for internal and external reviews (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS)
· Fosters strong interdisciplinary communication and collaborative problem-solving across departments, nursing, case management, and ancillary services
· Monitors operational performance metrics and leverages data to guide improvement efforts in access, throughput, provider productivity, and patient satisfaction
· Facilitates leadership rounds, operational huddles, and engagement forums to maintain transparency and responsiveness
· Participates in facility planning and design projects as needed for assigned service areas
· Actively contributes to system-wide initiatives, strategic planning, and committee work that advances Bronson’s integrated care delivery model

Education and Experience Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field (required)
· Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MPH) (preferred)
· 5–7+ years of progressive healthcare management experience, with at least 3 years in practice operations or clinical service line leadership
· Proven experience overseeing multi-site medical practices and leading both inpatient and ambulatory operations
· Demonstrated success in budget management, operational improvement, and patient access optimization
· Experience with provider relations, including optimizing team engagement, provider morale, and leadership in a dyad model
· Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS), quality initiatives, and performance reporting
· Epic EMR experience strongly preferred, with a focus on identifying opportunities to enhance provider workflow, documentation efficiency, and system optimization
· Proficient in revenue cycle processes, staffing models, and productivity benchmarking
· Experience leading change management, process improvement, and high-performing team development
