We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to take over coordination and delivery ownership of two internal software products developed for the insurance sector.

Location: Remote (CZ-based), occasional on-site presence in Prague
Engagement: B2B, part-time or full-time (negotiable)
Language: Czech (fluent)
Start: End of August
Duration: Initial 6-month contract with long-term potential
About the Projects:
You will be responsible for two internal systems developed by a mid-sized in-house development team:
• Internal CRM & Operations Platform: A proprietary tool used daily by over 500 tied insurance advisors. It combines CRM functionalities, internal certification, and education modules, along with basic operational tools.
• Price Comparison Tool: A standalone product enabling internal users to compare insurance product prices. Still in active development with plans for rollout and enhancements.
Both systems are being developed by a team of 6–8 engineers (mix of internal and external staff), but the current process lacks clarity, ownership, and delivery structure — your role will be to change that.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own and lead delivery across both projects
• Coordinate and support the development team (internal + contractors)
• Set up structure, implement delivery processes, and establish ownership
• Prioritize tasks, oversee planning, and ensure deadlines are met
• Report regularly to management and communicate with business stakeholders
• Represent the tech function in discussions with non-technical teams
• Bring clarity and structure where it’s currently lacking
Requirements:
• Proven experience in IT Project Management, ideally with internal product teams
• Confidence leading hybrid teams (mix of internal & external devs)
• Ability to define priorities, plan realistically, and push delivery forward
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (including reporting, presentations)
• Enough technical understanding to challenge estimates and assess progress
• Insurance/financial sector background is a nice plus, but not a must
• Hands-on, proactive, and structured approach
