Arconic is currently in search of Quality Supervisor to join our Kawneer - Building and Construction Systems business in Cranberry Township, PA.

- Lead by example, specifically with regard to the Arconic Values, EHS and HR policies
- Ensure the safety and health of the employees
- Utilize continuous improvement and operational excellence tools to drive business outcomes, included by not limited to A3's, Hoshin Plans, Ishikawa diagrams, Visual Management boards, daily management activities, and quality operation metrics reviews/reporting.
- Engage employees in department initiatives
- Support implementation of policies and procedures and recommend improvements in working conditions
- Perform employee's performance reviews and disciplinary action when appropriate
- Responsible for quality problem analysis and resolution showing improved process optimization
- Responsible to guarantee the integrity of the system transactions on JDE/Oracle
- Implement, maintain and improve processes that will prevent EHS incidents
- Communicate and follow up with Quality on daily/weekly/monthly requirements
- Communicate with other production and support departments (Operations, Engineering, PC, HR, etc.);
- Other duties as needed to meet business objectives
- Supervise to support achievement of all departmental goals in alignment with the plant business case (e.g. IFE, TRR, DART, Human Performance, OTIF, WCR, Operational Productivity, Labor efficiency, OEE, Inventory, Budget, etc.)
- Support lean manufacturing actions established for the department with the Quality Operations Manager
- Lead and participate in area L1 and L2 meetings to identify opportunities for improvement & establish appropriate corrective actions for completion with support functions including EHS, Operations, and Product & Maintenance Engineering
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- 3 years manufacturing experience
- 1 year supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Supervisory experiences in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using Oracle, JDE, and Workbrain Timekeeping
- Demonstrated proficiency in structured and systematic problem solving, using factual, data driven, logical approaches. Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions
- Strong command of quality systems and leading change through strategic direction, as well as applicable customer specifications/requirements
