Essential Job Functions

Directs warehouse employees in day-to-day operating tasks

Responsible for warehouse staging and scheduling during shift

Responsible for off-site warehouse personnel including CDL driver

Directs CDL drivers of trailer placement for next day drop shipment trailers

Receives transshipment loads in a timely manner based on incoming appointment times

Assists in loading and unloading of trailers as needed

Assists in line pulling as needed

Required to participate and command the necessary skills to cycle count

Participates in monthly and annual inventory counts

Assists in making sure production lines and palletizer stay operational during duration of shift

Maintains track-able information for daily shuttles by CDL driver

Number of loads shipped and received per shift

Maintains and performs trailer inventories to ensure accuracy

Has an understanding and can read production schedule

Works directly with all department managers / supervisors to ensure complete accuracy for inventory of finished and raw materials

Understands and can use E1 JD Edwards Software program

Inventory control

BOL printing

Pick Ticks

Work orders

Ship confirms are performed daily

Ship not billed reports are performed daily and send to accounting

Maintain and publish local shipping and delivery schedule

Understands and practices FIFO of all finished products and raw materials

Maintain “wish list “is complete and received from WH2 before shift change

Maintain that all corrugate is brought back from WH2 and staged in the corrugate holding are for the next day’s production needs

Understands and practices use of the RF Scan gun

Trains

Supervise script for x-label tag printing

PSN tag deactivation

Understands and practices LOTO program

Palletizer

Shrink wrapper

Trailers (glad hand locks)

Demonstrates and maintains exemplary care of all equipment

Completes routine paperwork and maintains records as required

General housekeeping duties as assigned

Communicates effectively with shift line leads, department managers and coworkers

Follow all safety and GMP guidelines

Follow all policies and procedures as applicable

Qualifications

High school degree or GED equivalent

Ability to work in fast-paced and always changing environment

Ability to follow detailed instructions

Good communication skills [both verbal and written]

Ability to work safely

Must be able to work overtime / weekends when needed

Must be flexible to work different shifts

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check

Must pass a Skills Assessment Test

Must complete all regulatory and KIK safety training and has been certified as a forklift operator and is able to continually meet all requirements going forward

Must be able to push, pull and lift at least 50lbs

Must be able to lift wooden pallets from floor to shoulder height

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to bend, squat, lift and reach for long periods of time

Must be able to safely climb ladders

Must be able to work in a chemical environment (bleach, ammonia)

Must be able to work in an industrial environment

Must be able to wear steel toed shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection always while on the production floor

Must be able to tolerate non-climate-controlled working environment
