Frame Receiving Clerk

Summary

Join our optical laboratory as a Frame Receiving Clerk, where you'll serve as the critical foundation of our pre-production operations, managing incoming frame inventory, verifying order accuracy, and coordinating workflow between receiving and production departments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Verify order information and quality using digital systems 
• Process priority customer orders through appropriate channels 
• Label and organize inventory for efficient production workflow 
• Maintain clean and organized workstation 
• Support other laboratory departments as needed 
• Assist with frame processing inquiries and coordination 
• Help with shipping operations including equipment organization

Additional Duties

• Will be cross-trained and required to perform other lab duties as assigned and when needed

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Physical Requirements

• Exceptional visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity with strong attention to detail
• Sustained standing, walking, and reaching capabilities for accessing storage systems and work areas
• Regular lifting capacity of up to 20 pounds with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Frequent mobility requirements including stooping, kneeling, and crawling for equipment access
• Specific vision requirements including distance and color discrimination abilities

Safety Requirements

• Understanding of workplace safety programs
• Wear required PPE (closed-toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves)
• Safe tool handling practices
• Moderate to noise work environment
