Job title: Engineer – Machine Learning

Department: Student Services

Purpose

We are looking for an Engineer - Machine Learning to help us build our AI/NLP based products.

Your responsibilities include transforming datasets into useful features using ML/NLP techniques to solve problems pertinent to education. To succeed in this role, you should possess outstanding skills in statistical analysis, machine learning methods and text representation techniques.

Your ultimate goal is to develop efficient self-learning applications.

Responsibilities

●       Study and transform data science prototypes

●       Select appropriate annotated datasets for Supervised Learning methods

●       Find and implement the right algorithms and tools for AI/NLP tasks

●       Train the developed model and run evaluation experiments

●       Perform statistical analysis of results and refine models

●       Extend ML libraries and frameworks to apply in AI/NLP tasks

●       Remain updated in the rapidly changing field of machine learning

Skills and Qualifications

●       Prior experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role

●       Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture

●       Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms

●       Ability to write robust code in Python, Java or R

●       Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)

●       Excellent communication skills

●       Ability to work in a team

●       Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

●       BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar field; Master’s degree is a plus
