Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of a thriving manufacturing business. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing vendor and customer communications, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting processes. Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable communications and send professional collection emails to customers
- Handle accounts payable correspondence and respond to vendor inquiries promptly
- Perform accurate data entry for bills, invoices, and financial transactions
- Review and analyze aging reports to support cash flow management
- Maintain organized digital filing systems and folder structures
- Process and enter bills efficiently into the company’s financial systems
- Provide basic accounting support for special projects and side initiatives as they arise
- Collaborate directly with management to ensure financial processes run smoothly
Requirements
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, particularly debits and credits
- Experience with Bill.com platform strongly preferred (primary software used)
- Proficiency in data entry with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written communication skills for professional email correspondence
- Excellent organizational abilities for digital file management and maintenance
- Ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with supervisors
- Comfortable working in a remote environment with direct client supervision
- Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup
