Product Manager
•As a Senior Product Manager, you will take on a leadership role in managing the complete product lifecycle. This includes conceptualising, defining, delivering, monitoring, refining products and optimising business outcomes. The Senior Product Manager must exhibit a high level of leadership skills, guiding cross-functional teams to success while maintaining a strategic focus on business objectives. This role requires a seasoned professional who can bring a depth of insights and experience to drive innovation and ensure the continued growth and success of our product portfolio. •Lead and own the comprehensive end-to-end product lifecycle for flagship products, collaborating with diverse capabilities and business partners to: oDevelop and articulate a clear value proposition, strategy, and roadmap for products. oDrive the adoption and integration of innovative technology tools to improve product efficiency and user experience. oEnsure solutions are not only fit for purpose but also aligned with evolving customer needs. oEstablish realistic and achievable delivery milestones, overseeing governance and quality/risk management activities. oAccountable for products’ testing strategy and accreditation in line with audit requirements. oImplement a robust and cost-effective support model for the product. oEnsure the product team is committed, skilled, and aligned with organisational objectives. oDrive delivery against established finance metrics. •Strategically plan resourcing needs based on comprehensive programs of work throughout the product lifecycle, encompassing activities such as design sprints, solution build, and marketing. •Facilitate workshops and conduct interviews with subject matter experts/stakeholders to capture and frame complex business challenges effectively. •Deliver compelling presentations of findings and recommendations to stakeholders at multiple organisational levels. •Champion Agile practices at an advanced level, empowering product teams to consistently deliver high-quality solutions. •Act as a pivotal bridge between engineering teams and stakeholder groups, ensuring alignment with technical design and build standards while meeting business and stakeholder requirements. •Report on agreed product Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and provide status updates regularly. •Assume a leadership role within the company, engaging in high-level conversations with senior leadership both internally and externally. •Build and maintain robust relationships with various parts of the internal technology function. •Foster collaborative relationships with peers, team members, subject matter experts, and diverse stakeholders, including third parties for potential partnerships. •Provide mentorship and coaching to peers and junior analysts, advancing their skills, and contributing to ongoing product management education as well as supporting recruitment and onboarding of junior team members. •Recognise and effectively manage complex dependencies, prioritise workload strategically, and provide regular status updates as required. •Adhere to and actively promote KPMG values, accessibility standards and ethical design principles. •Adhere to and actively promote Information Security related processes, Software Audit Tools accreditation requirements, procedures, and role-based responsibilities. •Contribute significantly to the successful adoption of the product by driving promotional efforts and providing support and guidance.Responsibilities for Internal Candidates •Proven business acumen, showcasing a deep understanding of business strategy, commercial thinking, and portfolio prioritisation at a senior level. •Demonstrated strong leadership and people development skills, showcasing the ability to lead and develop teams effectively. •Exceptional self-motivation and teamwork skills, coupled with the ability to build momentum and pivot strategically when required. •Comprehensive technical mindset, with the ability to grasp and align complex technical concepts with overarching business priorities. •Proven experience in internal and external senior stakeholder management, with excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating, selling, defending, and receiving feedback on work. •A history of building robust relationships with customers and teammates, displaying expertise in bringing people together to form motivated teams. •Keen focus on achieving business outcomes that drive value in an agile, iterative manner, prioritising pragmatism over perfection. •Exceptional ability to convene client and senior stakeholders at all levels, from C-Suite to process leads, SMEs, and analysts, facilitating outcomes that drive value throughout the product lifecycle. Expertise in designing user-centric solutions that respond effectively to user needs. •Proven experience in managing client engagements and project workstreams, along with a track record of successfully working with and influencing senior stakeholders. •Significant knowledge of the automation and technology landscape, enabling effective management of business processes.
