We are currently supporting one of our international clients in the search for an experienced Data & Integration Architect to join a global technology team working on next-generation automotive solutions. 

🔍 About the role:

As a Data IS & Integration Architect, you will take a central role in designing and harmonizing data structures, ensuring their alignment across business units and IT platforms. You will work at the intersection of business, architecture, and integration – ensuring the consistency, quality, and interoperability of data models and flows in a highly innovative industrial environment.

🧩 Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the development of a unified conceptual business object model using UML, ensuring completeness and consistency across domains.

• Facilitate agreement and validation processes with business and IT stakeholders, operating within a broader data governance framework.

• Define and promote modeling best practices, ensuring strong linkage between conceptual and logical models, especially in application and API contexts.

• Guarantee the usability of conceptual models for API specification and integration scenarios.

• Select the most appropriate integration technologies and protocols for individual projects, balancing performance, reusability, time-to-market, and cost.

• Support project teams in specifying and designing data flows, in line with architectural standards and under the coordination of the interface package manager.

• Promote API reusability and adherence to a shared business language to ensure data quality and efficient system communication.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity, development, and technical architecture teams to establish robust integration standards and practices.

• Ensure full data flow lineage is described for AI applications, particularly in alignment with regulatory requirements such as the AI Act.

• Contribute to the identification and development of data architecture tools and capabilities, including the preparation of RFPs where needed.

• Suggest and implement missing practices that strengthen the overall data architecture ecosystem.
  

✅ Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience & Education:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience, including:

  • At least 5 years in data modeling across business contexts and projects.
    

  • At least 4 years in integration architecture or related areas.

• Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., DAMA) are a plus.

• Strong foundation in data architecture concepts and governance frameworks.

• Experience working with various data types (master, transactional, reference, unstructured).

• Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles, business capability modeling, and process mapping.

• Knowledge of systems including SAP, MES, SaaS/IaaS, IoT, and Edge computing architectures.

• Understanding of key technical parameters (e.g., SLA, RTO, RPO, hosting considerations).

• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

• Ability to work effectively across international and cross-functional teams.

• Proactive, structured, and innovative mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

• Fluency in English is required; an additional language is a plus.
