Job Purpose
Review source code and database tables, business requirements, engineering specifications, end-user interfaces, and reported issues from internal and external customers to write technical content covering the full stack.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and understand supporting materials.
- Serve as the subject matter expert to write and validate the first draft of content with product and software engineering peers.
- Serve as team’s project manager and POC for assigned products to manage all project deliverables.
- Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Understand and comply with Risk Management program requirements including identification of risks, key controls, and control testing as applicable to responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Journalism, Linguistics, or related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)
- Understanding of full stack layers including coding ability on 1 language
- Understanding of cloud computing types (public, private, hybrid, and multi) and services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) and potential effect on documentation requirements.
- Understanding of cloud computing dependent technologies including operating systems, databases, and APIs.
- 3+ years’ experience
- Working in a content management system
- Writing simple, clear content for end-users
- Applying predefined editorial and quality standards
Work Environment:
- Office work environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to produce and present content both orally and in writing
- <10% travel may be required
