HIM Tech

Scope:

Seeking a HIM tech with at least 2+ years' experience in Master Person Index (MPI) cleanup for potential and known duplicates.  These will be for a health system who recently acquired an additional hospital and brought the new hospital up onto their existing Epic from the legacy system Meditech. This has resulted in a large number of possible duplicate patients that need sorted through.  Estimated project length will approximately 6 months with the possibly of being extended. Epic experience is a must.  FULL TIME ONLY UNTIL During initial training must be available M-F for up to 4 hours between 8a and 4p PST.  After initial training the schedule can be more flexible within reason but must be able to work some of the hours during the client's normal business hours of 8a - 4 p PST.

 

1. 2 + years working with MPI cleanup
2. Epic experience
3. Able to work some hours within 8a and 4p PST
4. Able to review cases per hour after initial ramp up period
5. Good written and verbal communication skills
