As an Optician at Pepose Vision Institute, you will be crucial in ensuring our patients receive exceptional eye care services. You'll be a great fit if you can:

• Adjust and repair glasses to ensure proper fit and comfort
• Teach and demonstrate the insertion and removal of contact lenses
• Educate patients on differences in materials and progressive lens styles
• Neutralize and transpose prescriptions to ensure accurate vision correction
• Take precise optical measurements to ensure proper lens fit and alignment
• Discuss differences in contact lens brands and modalities to help patients make informed decisions

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have:

• Ability to travel to other nearby practices in South County (Tesson Ferry Road) and our Chesterfield location.
• Excellent patient care focus with attention to detail.
• Proven experience as an Optician, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to patients.
• Familiarity with a variety of optical equipment and tools.
• A customer-oriented approach with a passion for providing high-quality service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A high school diploma or equivalent education is required, and an associate degree in Opticianry is preferred but not required.
