ABOUT THE ROLE

Nestled in the idyllic hamlet of Asthall, just outside Burford, The Three Horseshoes is a lovingly restored Cotswolds pub known for its warm hospitality, seasonal food, and timeless charm. We’re looking for a Housekeeper who takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming environment that reflects the beauty and character of our setting.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a peaceful, countryside location and values attention to detail, consistency, and care.

SALARY:  £13.35 per hour

HOURS:   Full-time - 30 Hours

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are cleaned to a high standard.
• Preparing rooms for arrivals with care and attention to detail.
• Maintain laundry and linen supplies, reporting any shortages or damages.
• Support the wider team in keeping the pub beautifully presented at all times.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the property
• To be engaging and friendly with our guests ensuring service excellence.
• Bring our purpose to life by driving meaningful social and environmental improvements, contributing to our journey as a B Corp, and aligning with our sustainability vision.
• Inspire and empower our customers, suppliers, and partners to live and work more consciously, creating a lasting positive impact on the world.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

• Previous housekeeping experience (preferred but not essential).
• A strong work ethic and pride in delivering high standards.
• Reliability, discretion, and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
