This year-long fellowship provides trainees an intensive and immersive experience in working with youth between the ages of 12-20.
Training Curriculum:
Trainees will participate in a weekly didactic seminar including but not limited to:
- Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Developmental milestones
- DSM 5 Diagnosis
- Behavioral Management
- Child Serving Systems
- Trauma and Best Practice Trauma Treatment
- Medication Administration Program (Certification)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (Certification)
- Immersive experience with youth
- Face to face clinical hours
Training Rotations: Trainees will have the opportunity to train in 4 different youth serving intensive programs including Emergency Shelter, Independent Living, and Intensive Behavioral Health Services.
Schedule: Trainees will have one full day of focused training and 4 additional days of on-site experience.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred in human services related field
- Ability to make a one-year training commitment
- Accept assignment and schedules at sites (includes evenings and weekends)
- Acceptable CORI, SORI and DEEC background record check including fingerprinting
- Valid driver’s license with adequate driving record
