Position Summary:

The Inventory Coordinator II performs advanced inventory management tasks, including detailed record-keeping, inventory optimization, and leading inventory audits. This position requires a high level of accuracy and problem-solving skills to support the logistics and warehouse management team effectively.


Key Results Areas:

1. Oversee and optimize inventory management processes located in multiple warehouse locations.

a. Conduct comprehensive cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.

b. Monitor and validate all inventories, initiate & perform cycle count of all products.

c. Lead the identification and delivery of kitted parts for production, ensuring quality compliance.

d. Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and assist in the investigation of discrepancies.

e. Pick and pull parts and material for assembly.

f. Ensure accurate and efficient transfers of parts and costs.


2. Manager transactions in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with a high level of complete accuracy.

a. Coordinate inventory activities to support production schedules and assembly operations.

a. Initiate and perform cycle counts and other inventory verification as required.

b. Navigate companywide computer systems to keep information accurate and consistent while being a resource to other employees for finding information.


3. Ensure inventory storage locations are a safe and upkept work environment in a manner that is safe and compliant with OSHA standards.

a. Collaborate with other departments for job completion and material disposition.

b. Leads in loading, organizing, and maintaining inventory storage/staging areas and racks.

c. Maintain work location in excellent condition to comply with company policies for safety and housekeeping while maintaining and organizing adequate shipping supplies.


4. Collaborate with other departments with necessary actions to close jobs effectively.

a. Work with program managers and production control to gather, reconcile, and disposition residual material at completion of jobs.

b. Transfer dispositioned material to appropriate locations and complete the transactions in the ERP system.


5. Support and guide the Shipping and Receiving team as necessary.

a. Unload, receive, verify, stage, and document all incoming expense, project, inventory, and customer supplied materials.

b. Conduct thorough inspections of inbound shipments and resolve any issues.

Requirements

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, an individual must possess the knowledge, training, experience and abilities required.

Education and Training

· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain preferred.


Experience:

· Five years of experience in inventory, receiving, or warehouse roles.

· Advanced experience with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.


Other:

· Valid driver's license and advanced fork truck certification.

· Willingness to work overtime as required.

· Advanced computer skills and proficiency in inventory management software.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.

· Superior problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

· Ability to plan and meet company objectives within established timelines.

Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly range for this role is $25 to $30. This range represent the anticipated minimum and maximum base + bonus for this position based upon a good faith and reasonable estimate. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the applicant’s qualifications (education, training and/or experience related to this role), and therefore, may fall outside the range shown, depending on the circumstances.
