Located in Pomona, CA, MBG - California seeks a Portfolio Manager. We have a competitive compensation package with a wide range of benefits for full-time employees. This position works remotely.

 

Reporting directly to the President of MBG California, the Portfolio Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the organization’s end-to-end supplier relationship management and all aspects involved in their portfolio execution. The Portfolio Manager plays a pivotal role in aligning supply with demand by coordinating closely with vendors, internal departments, and customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals and drive operational excellence.
  • Manage all procurement activities, including supplier evaluation, and ongoing vendor relationship management.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, sales, and finance teams to accurately forecast demand and synchronize supply chain activities.
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and environmental and sustainability standards.
  • Leverage ERP systems and supply chain software to track KPIs, analyze performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to support long-term business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a portfolio team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Previous experience working in the industry, portfolio management or supply chain
  • Willingness to work occasional weekend hours.
  • Must be able to pass a background screening
