Operations Field Support Specialist 
 

Our Operations Division is seeking an Operations Field Support Specialist to provide operational support to the Water, Waste Water and Support Services groups. You will be part of a team responding to a high volume of inquiries and requests requiring extensive interaction with a variety of applications, customers and stakeholders. If you have strong customer service skills and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment, this may be the opportunity for you!

A day in the life of an Operations Field Support Specialist may include:

  • Processing a high volume of invoices based on critical deadlines
  • Responding to internal and external customer calls and inquiries
  • Covering incoming phone lines from internal and external sources - 4 main lines on the team
  • Providing a high level of data quality awareness across multiple applications
  • Providing business process analysis, recommending changes, and improvements
  • Developing processes to increase the efficiency of operations or reduce costs, and implementing and monitoring changes and improvements
  • Rotating through CSU Scale house operations regularly for coverage
     

Who Are You:

  • Relevant and progressively responsible experience in a high-volume business support or customer service context
  • Experience with Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) applications is valued
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service skills and respond promptly to customer needs, as well as requests for service and assistance
  • Ability to learn new technologies and programs
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
