Responsibilities
• Provide administrative assistance to the Senior Manager of the Member & Provider Engagement Unit, ensuring member needs are met while coordinating with staff and other departments.
• Manage the calendar and appointments for events, functions, and staff schedules.
• Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on action items; screen and direct calls, maintain unit files and listings
• Submit requests for meetings and events for the unit, including logistical support for food and beverages, travel, technology, and meeting space.
• Gather confidential member information for accident/incident, emergency care, and special needs requests
• Prepare all member requests for manager review and approval
• Act as the point of person contact for conference room reservations and provide backup support on unit projects
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in an administrative support capacity in a business/office environment required
• Basic skill level in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Basic knowledge of records management systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure and independently
• Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and Saturdays
