Welder/Fitter

Where: DC proper

Pay: $52,27/hr with the Local 602 Union

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years fitting and welding on commercial jobsites.  Chiller installs, cooling towers, etc.

Job Description:

The Welder/Fitter works with the rest of the Construction Department on commercial projects, and is responsible for reviewing drawings, doing lay-out, and assembling pipes accurately and according to production standards, quality requirements, safety requirements, code, design, and specifications.

Requirements:

3-5 years welding & fitting on commercial jobsites

Mig Tig Stic

Able to read and understand blueprints, drawings, etc.

Able to work in confined spaces

Able to work regular schedule and OT as needed

Clean Mvr/Br/Dt

Able to lead a crew if necessary
