Winpak Films Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their Finance Department based out of Senoia, GA on a full-time onsite schedule. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining daily accounts payable functions and supporting the company's cash management activities. Your contributions will ensure compliance with purchasing guidelines, accurate vendor payments, and timely financial reporting, playing a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of Winpak’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile accounts payable invoices and employee expense reports
- Match, code, and enter invoices (2-way and 3-way matching using Movex)
- Resolve outstanding balances and provide timely support to internal/external vendors
- Ensure accurate coding, documentation, and authorization of all disbursements
- Process check runs, including proposal generation, backup matching, and mailing
- Maintain vendor records and filing of all payable documents
- Prepare and post journal entries for month-end accruals and reclassifications
- Assist in GRNI reconciliation, sales tax reporting, and intercompany reconciliations
- Support special projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Document and update departmental policies and procedures as needed
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in high-volume Accounts Payable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Familiarity with Accounts Payable systems and General Ledger structure
- Ability to prepare journal entries for accruals and reclasses
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in accounting, Business, or a related field
- Experience in a manufacturing or production-based environment
- Knowledge of Movex ERP system or similar platforms
- Experience assisting with month-end close and audit support
Additional Details:
- Shift Type: Full-time, onsite
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM.
- Travel: None required
- Supervision: Reports directly to the Controller
