Job Summary of the Quality Assurance Records Specialist
Axogen is looking for a strong team player to coordinate incoming medical records for a team of Quality Specialists. A successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, printing, and compiling numerous records into a complete chart. Consistency and accuracy of records is a must. Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is preferred.
Requirements of the Quality Assurance Records Specialist
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Three years clerical experience with medical records preferred
- Previous experience in a regulated industry preferred
- Knowledge of Adobe Pro and Access databases preferred
Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Records Specialist
The specific duties of the Quality Assurance Records Specialist include but are not limited to:
- Maintains a process for identifying and compiling incoming records from multiple sources
- Maintains records in a neat, organized manner completely and accurately
- Performs preliminary reviews, including printing and assembling records
- Maintains donor database
- Assists in transition of a paper-based system to an electronic-based system for donor records
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Hourly Pay Range$19.65—$24.50 USDAxogen follows healthcare system guidelines with respect to credentialing, vaccinations and other employment/compliance related requirements, as well as CDC guidance. Axogen reserves the right to amend its policies from time to time in its sole discretion.
