The Ventures team consists of 5 experienced investment professionals and we’re looking for a 6th to join us. We are characterized by a high degree of involvement, responsibility and team spirit. As an Analyst/Associate, at KPN Ventures, you’ll play a key role throughout the entire investment journey – from spotting promising opportunities and conducting due diligence to closing the deal. You'll be an integral part of our close-knit investment team, working side by side with KPN’s business leaders across the company.

This role goes beyond numbers. It’s about curiosity, creativity, and a genuine passion for innovative business models and breakthrough technologies. If you love spotting new innovations and companies, going to events, connecting with peers, diving deep into analysis, uncovering what drives value, and navigating the due diligence process, this is your stage to shine.

Responsibilities:

• Deal sourcing and execution;
• Going outside to find new opportunities;
• Analyzing the opportunity of potential new investment areas;
• Together with KPN’s business units creating an ecosystem of innovative partner companies;
• Preparing investment proposals, fund reporting and other documentation;
• Supporting portfolio companies to accelerate their revenues and boost their performance.

Functie-eisen

Excellent academic background with up to 3 years of experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, M&A, Consulting, or Technology;
Curious about the future, with a passion for digital innovation, tech trends, and KPN’s role in both B2B and B2C markets;
Analytical and hands-on, a proactive team player who brings structure, energy, and a drive for excellence;
Thrives under pressure, balancing deadlines with sharp thinking and clear communication;
Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus!) and confident in managing projects and stakeholder relationships.

A gross monthly salary starting from € 4.499,- to a maximum of € 6.582,-, depending on your work experience, based on a 40-hour workweek;
