Job Description

Serves as a scribe in a fast-paced environment. Prepares notes for one of our Providers in eDerm (our EMR) via an iPad.
Patient call backs including test results, prescription refills and questions regarding care
Facilitates outside patient referrals as needed, medication prior authorizations and medication refills as specified Providers as needed.
Medical Assistant assisting patients in our Sanford, Lillington and Pittsboro offices.
Cross trained to assist front office duties as needed. This includes registration, collection of co-pays & payments, scheduling of appointments and patient reminder calls.

Job Type:

Full-time: Monday – Thursday, 8am-5pm; Fridays 8am-12pm

Experience:

1 to 2 years of medical assistant experience

Education:

High School Diploma
