We are looking for a Project Manager, US CapEx to join our team in either Kansas City, MO, Atlanta, GA, or Houston, TX.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of multiple capital projects across various sites—ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate in-suite and common area renovations, exterior siding, roofing, boiler and HVAC upgrades, window and door replacements, and other building systems.
  • Manage the tendering process: prepare RFPs, assess vendor proposals, and select contractors in collaboration with procurement.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure safety compliance, and resolve on-site issues.
  • Maintain project documentation, financial records, and reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Provide weekly updates on projects to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project activities with onsite staff and directors.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and asset management teams to align project scope with property performance goals.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate green technologies and sustainability upgrades.
  • Additional duties as required.

 

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

  • Working experience in multifamily maintenance and capital project management.
  • 7+ years of experience in construction, project management, or capital planning (preferably in residential or multifamily real estate).
  • Ability to travel frequently to work sites.
  • Experience managing roofing, siding, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, balcony, carpentry and interior renovation projects.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, renovation processes, and contractor oversight.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capability.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across dispersed geographic regions.
  • Experience with CapEx budgeting and forecasting is preferred.
  • Proficiency with construction tracking tools, Microsoft Excel, and project reporting.
  • Knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices, knowledge of construction sequencing and managing conflicting timelines and interests.
