Job Description
As a member of architecture and path finding team, this role is responsible for deep-dive analysis of leading-edge storage products on the market at system level as well as component level.
- power and performance analysis of SSD/HDD and key components.
- feature/function validation and evaluation.
- physical tear-down of SSD/HDD, controller and media.
- delivering and communicating findings to other teams to facilitate planning, development, marketing and sales of our own products.
- automating and improving the analysis process and coverage.
- maintaining necessary records and reports.
- performing other related duties as required or as directed.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Master in EE with at least 3 years of experience or BS in EE with more than 5 years of experience.
- Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits and systems.
- Proficiency in using advanced testing equipment and software.
- Experience in developing and executing test plans.
- Proficiency in test automation and data analysis.
- Experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Proficient in Python and familiar with Linux OS.
- Previous experience in SSD and HDD is a plus.
- Management/Leadership Skills:
- Good project management skills for small projects.
- Ability to mentoring/supervising junior engineers/technicians.
- Effective stakeholder communication and reporting.
Additional Information
he compensation range for this role is $[89,620] - $[143,200]. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
