The work:
Below is a snapshot of recent projects that you could be working on in our UK office:
Higher Education:
- Developed an operating model design for a large Russell Group University with a focus on academic administration and professional services. Through discovery and design, we co-developed a service catalogue and new ways of working with a focus on user experience.
- Undertook an evaluation of a university’s innovation ecosystem to better understand efficacy and impact within a global context. The report benchmarked ecosystem performance considering inputs, outputs and outcomes against global leading practice to identify what more the university could do to deliver against government and stakeholder expectations
- Worked with a university’s transformation office to provide strategy and delivery support, progressing projects aimed at improving student experience and uplifting the capability in the team. We established a best-practice PMO and provided hands on support to progress projects on assessment and feedback, attendance monitoring and engagement, curriculum management and direct mark entry, critically moving several projects out of the 'red' risk status
Government:
- Leading Masterclasses on an ongoing basis with cohorts of newly appointed CEOs of public bodies, helping them explore the intricacies of leading arm's length bodies through challenging times
- Ran a ‘red team’ review of a major defence programme, drawing on Nous’ global experts to challenge the status quo
- Conducted a data maturity assessment for an arm’s-length body to make recommendations on how they can better use data to make informed decisions
