We’re hiring a Procurement Lead to play a senior, strategic role in our growing procurement function. This is a high-impact position focused on defining strategy, delivering measurable value, and improving how we grow, operate, and innovate.

You’ll work across functions, including Commercial and Brand Partnerships, leading initiatives that drive sustainable practices, optimise spend, and build strong supplier relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with senior manager-level experience who’s ready to develop their strategic and commercial leadership over the next couple of years. While this is a senior role, it doesn’t include line management responsibilities for the foreseeable future.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

In this role, you’ll be accountable for delivering cost savings and value through strategic sourcing, strong supplier relationships, and performance management. You’ll ensure procurement activities meet internal policies and legal standards while identifying and mitigating risks to maintain service continuity and minimise operational disruption.

This is a newly created role in a growing function, so you’ll help shape its direction, setting the vision, influencing strategy, mentoring others, and driving change across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities include:

Developing and executing procurement strategies that deliver cost savings, value, and operational efficiency
Establishing and maintaining strategic supplier partnerships, driving suppliers to meet cost, quality, and performance requirements
Implementing risk management processes and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Driving procurement process improvements, including best practice procurement and supply chain tech to enhance efficiency and transparency
Ensuring procurement practices align with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives, and promoting sustainability within the supply chain
Working closely with internal stakeholders – up to and including C-Suite, Finance and Tech to align procurement activities with business goals

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

It is essential that you have in-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, supplier management, and strong negotiation skills. Equally important is proven experience with procurement processes, along with a pragmatic approach to knowing when to follow established procedures and when to flex them to best meet the needs of the business.

We are also looking for:

Good understanding of functionally specific dynamics and experience in managing spend in general functional areas
Ability to influence stakeholders and suppliers and the confidence and experience to work closely with the Gymshark C-Suite
Experience of working in a green or brownfield Procurement function in an organisation that is growing at pace
Ability to analyse complex data and market trends to inform strategic sourcing decisions and optimise spend
Expertise in identifying and mitigating procurement risks, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards
