Senior Accountant 1 (Sheriff's Office)- 010024

Under the direction of the Department Manager 4, the Senior Accountant 1 performs various accounting functions at the Sheriff’s Department.

Required Tasks

• Prepare inmate housing billings to various agencies
• Prepare financial reports for all grant activity
• Prepare financial reporting for all Narcotics Units activities
• Prepare and process services vouchers as needed
• Prepare and process revenue vouchers
• Assist with inmate property deposit preparation
• Process court orders and bond preparations
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics or a closely related field
• Three years (3) full time paid professional experience in accounting
