Job Description
Step into a pivotal role as a Virtual Receptionist where you’ll be the welcoming voice and first point of contact for patients seeking healthcare services. This remote position offers the unique opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care while working with a dynamic startup team that values innovation and growth. You’ll serve as a crucial bridge between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service delivery in a bilingual environment that celebrates diversity and accessibility.
Scope:

- Patient-facing role serving diverse, primarily Spanish-speaking demographic
- Interface with online booking systems and insurance verification processes
- Opportunity to take on additional administrative tasks as practice grows
- Direct reporting to practice management team
- Potential for expanded responsibilities including basic research and invoicing support
Responsibilities:
- Receive and make phone calls to patients in both English and Spanish
- Return calls to patients and provide necessary follow-up communication
- Collect and verify patient information from online booking platforms (zorgdoc)
- Contact patients to obtain missing or incorrect information from online registrations
- Handle appointment scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling requests
- Follow up with patients who missed their appointments
- Conduct post-procedure follow-ups to gather patient feedback
- Enter patient information and maintain accurate records
- Handle insurance-related information collection and verification
Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (bilingual required)
- Excellent communication skills and professional phone manner
- Strong attention to detail and note-taking abilities
- Reliable memory and ability to accurately relay information from calls
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week)
- Comfortable working in a startup environment with evolving processes
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record management
- Medical experience is a plus
