This is a remote position.


Schedule:

  • 20 hours/week either 10am to 2pm or 2pm to 4pm
Client timezone: New Jersey (EST)

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging, on-brand social media content across various platforms

  • Edit short-form videos for use on Reels, TikTok, Instagram, and other channels

  • Develop and maintain a consistent content calendar and posting schedule

  • Manage the company’s Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts

  • Engage with online communities by responding to messages, comments, and mentions

  • Reach out to influencers and similar brands to increase visibility and engagement

  • Track and report on content performance and follower growth metrics

  • Contribute ideas for new campaigns and audience growth strategies

  • Provide regular updates and recommendations on social media trends and strategies



Requirements


  • Portfolio or samples of previous social media work (posts, videos, or campaigns)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Previous experience managing social media accounts and creating platform-specific content

  • Basic proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools

  • Familiarity with video editing and design tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, InShot, or similar)

  • Ability to create engaging and relevant content for social platforms

  • Experience using scheduling tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite

  • A proactive mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Experience with influencer outreach or community engagement is a plus
