Job Description

Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
Build highly responsive web applications through appealing visual design using Angular
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications, following a microservices architecture
Write effective APIs, and build reusable components for future use
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency before handing over
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Implement security guidelines
Keep a good habit of technical documentation

This role requires a passion to code, test and deliver quality applications within the desired timeframes.
Minimum 5-10 years proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on backend / process functionality or similar role
Familiar with common programing toolstack: Java, Angular, React, Kubernetes (OpenShift), Kafka, Jira, Gitlab, Springboot, Azure Dev Cloud, Python
Experience working with Agile methodology
Good understanding of Design Patterns used in Java / Python and Microservices Architectures
Familiar with databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB), web servers, messaging and queuing solutions (e.g. Kafka), container technology (Kubernetes / OpenShift), DevOps platforms (GitLab), and REST APIs
Excellent communication, teamwork skills, and ability to lead other developers
Ability to work with remote teams and stakeholders
Great attention to detail, solution driven and analytical mindset person
Experience in the Banking/Financial industry would be an added advantage
