Your Daily Contribution & Impact:
- Manage the defined supply chain strategy while ensuring that we deliver an agile supply chain to support our current and future business strategies
- Identify gaps (current or future) in our logistics operations capabilities, and propose and execute solutions to address them
- Design, generate and analyze regular reports and KPIs to improve operations and inform business decision making
- Drive for functional excellence, with focus on change management programs and other initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, address and mitigate supply chain risks, and deliver a positive impact on working capital
- Compile monthly supply chain and operational performance reports for review by the executive team. Achieve or beat fiscal direct, indirect and material spend budgets.
- Monitor forecasts to identify change and their effect on supply chain activities.
- Participate in strategic and business planning projects as required.
- Manage and be accountable for the supply chain team, instilling a lean supply chain behavior acting as a mentor and leader for the Canadian Logistics team
- In partnership with the VP Operations and Logistics, develop and implement strategies to reduce costs throughout the facilities.
- Prioritize teamwork, excellence and quality of service offered to customers and internal stakeholders by ensuring a synergy among all levels of the organization in order to meet the company’s strategic objectives and performance standards regarding, levels of service, profitability, inventory turnaround and operation efficiency (KPI’s)
- Lead and drive projects across various work streams within a multidisciplinary team
Expertise & Essential Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in engineering or supply chain management
- 10+ years of experience in Warehousing and Supply Chain, with progressively increasing responsibility.
- Experience and enthusiasm in designing, implementing and growing supply chain management systems including new evolving technologies and Automation.
- Strong ability to analyze, synthesize, negotiate, motivate and persuade
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong internal relationships and with third parties.
- Experience developing and managing complex projects.
- Superior analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities and ability to adapt and lead in a constantly changing environment. Act as a change management Champion
- Experience with warehouse management system (WMS), ERP (SAP) and experience with implementation processes and principles of continuous improvement
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications especially Excel, Power BI and Project.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken (French an asset).
