Are you ready to lead a game-changing transformation? We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to spearhead our roster to pay transformation initiative. This a full-time maximum term position for 12 months.

Your opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and delivering the roster to pay transformation initiative to drive workforce management, payroll accuracy and operational efficiencies. The Project Manager on time delivery, within budget and in line with organisational strategy and objectives.  With integrity and resilience, you will:

  • Take charge of projects from initiation to close and handover, ensuring every detail is meticulously planned and executed.

  • Develop and manage comprehensive roadmaps, detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.

  • Establish and manage robust project governance through reporting, steering committees, and portfolio forums.

  • Develop, manage, and communicate status updates, including milestone progress, risks, issues, and upcoming deliverables.

  • Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ensure clear communication of project objectives, expectations, and timelines.

  • Provide leadership and coordination in the discovery phase, including requirement gathering and developing business cases.

What you’ll bring

Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, and lead and motivate a team. Creative problem-solving and analytical ability with strong presentation skills. Proven skills in developing stakeholder presentation packs to support decision-making. Work well with ambiguity and complexity, maintaining strong attention to detail for accuracy and quality. Known for your discretion, problem-solving, and customer focus, you lead with integrity, justice, compassion, and excellence.

You will also need:

  • Certification or qualification in project management or business management.

  • Minimum 5 years of project delivery experience within the human resources domain and working cross-functionally across business units including technology delivery.

  • Experience in payroll projects is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated project management knowledge, expertise, and use of tools and frameworks.

  • Deep understanding of workforce management systems is highly desirable.

  • Proven positive impact via continuous improvement activity.

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage all levels within the organisation.

  • Strategic and systems thinking mindset with excellent project management skills.
