Perform all upfront duties on mortgage loan file, once it is reviewed and conditionally approved by underwriting.
Communicate to borrower what is left to send in per the underwriting conditions document.
Must be knowledgeable of the various loan program types and request from the borrower the necessary income and asset documentation that will be needed by processing and underwriting.
Continued communication with the Affiliate Bank Loan Officer and borrower to ensure that all documents and disclosures are returned by the required date.
May assist in other duties such within order servicing on the loan files such as title commitments, appraisals, homeowner insurance, and verifications.
Maintain and monitor their assigned files in a timely and efficient manner, to ensure loans are clear to close prior to closing date. Schedules refinance closings with the selected title company, and with the borrower, once file is cleared to close. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Certificate, college degree preferred.
Knowledge of mortgage loan documentation, the mortgage loan process, and regulatory compliance issues is recommended.
Current experience/knowledge base of initial disclosures and the Affiliate Fulfillment Center (AFC) process is recommended.
Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to maintain and effectively work pipeline of 30-60 files per month provided by loan officer team.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in administrative and customer issues
Problem solving, decision-making skills.
Technical know-how, training and excellent organizational, and computer skills.
