Responsibilities:

Supervising the general progress of work (own and third-party) related to the areas of corrective, preventive and predictive automotive maintenance, for services of greater complexity, and serving a greater volume and diversity of vehicles, the execution and planning of mechanical and electrical activities, with the aim of keeping forestry or non-forestry machinery, vehicles, agricultural implements and equipment in proper working order, as well as determining deadlines and analyzing the costs arising from the maintenance of all equipment, scheduling and supervising assembly and disassembly services, replacing, recovering and repairing parts, ensuring that tests are carried out and equipment is released in proper working order, with a view to continuity and functionality in order to meet established production and quality targets. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:1 - Monitor and provide technical guidance for automotive maintenance activities, controlling maintenance services, inspecting services provided, with the aim of making equipment available for production with guarantees, safety and increased useful life, reducing costs through solutions and improvements to equipment.2 - Contributing to annual planning through daily monitoring and planning of scheduled stoppages, monthly and weekly planning, as well as specific indicators for the area, interacting with the area's direct clients.3 - Providing technical support for maintenance programming, defining criteria and guidelines for predictive and preventive mechanical, electrical and electronic maintenance, with a view to making equipment available for operation and increasing its useful life.4 - Monitor and technically guide the preparation of the maintenance budget, with the aim of providing funds to carry out maintenance, guaranteeing the integrity of the installations and the functioning of the equipment, in order to serve the area's direct clients.5 - Analyze the technical specifications of the equipment, checking the conditions required for it to function properly. Analyzing the results of oil analyses in vehicle compartments and monitoring and guiding the tests.6 - Guide the purchase of materials to the correct specifications, external service requisitions, basic planning, based on technical knowledge of mechanics, with the aim of guaranteeing the defined material specifications.7 - Guide and control the activities of service providers within the own and third-party maintenance area, including the approval of service providers based on the defined service schedules and programs, monitoring costs and the performance of services.8 - Studying, proposing and/or determining changes to existing or ongoing projects, according to project needs or improvements.9 - Carrying out studies in general, performing various calculations, making feasible and rationalizing automotive maintenance costs.10 - Keeping the archive of technical drawings, technical manuals for equipment in general organized and functional, with the help of a computer and specific software, with the aim of supporting the area manager in guaranteeing equipment and for planning and maintenance.11 - Contribute to maintaining staff motivation and the appropriate level of qualification and performance, by identifying the training and professional development needs of their subordinates and drawing up a training program12 - Technically monitoring tire services, analyzing mileage and the need for services such as alignment and balancing, monitoring the causes of carcass scrapping and approving tire service providers.13 - Complying with internal regulations, the requirements of quality management systems and occupational safety standards inherent to the sector, as well as the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment/Collective Protective Equipment) when necessary.14 - Carry out other activities inherent to the position or at the discretion of their immediate superior, provided they are qualified and in line with their knowledge and experience. To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:• A degree in the related job field.• Those with 1 to 2 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role will have an advantage but not essential.• Willing to relocate to the job location.
