Clinical Training & Development Manager

Cabell Huntington Hospital seeks a full-time CT&D Manager to work in our Clinical Training and Development Department.

 

The Clinical Training and Development Manager is responsible for coordinating educational activities and professional development within the department of nursing and the organization.  The Clinical Training and Development Manager is responsible for effectively managing the electronic learning system and ensuring competency training.  This is accomplished by allocating available resources to effectively meet the educational needs of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree of Nursing required
• Masters Degree of Nursing required
• Current WV RN license required
• CPR / BLS required
• BLS Instructor within a year of hire required
• ANA Certification in Nursing Professional Development required within a year of hire. 
• ACLS & PALS preferred
• 2 years experience required, 5 + years preferred

The kind of position-related experience includes:

• Nursing experience that has demonstrated leadership and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Teaching and speaking experience is preferred.
• Departmental Management experience preferred.
