About the Role
Marshall Health Network is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Auxiliary Liaison to serve as the key connection between our hospitals and their respective Auxiliary Boards. In this pivotal role, you will ensure effective communication, foster board growth, drive fundraising efforts, and support compliance with state requirements. What You’ll Do

Be the Bridge: Serve as the primary liaison between each hospital and its Auxiliary Board, ensuring open, consistent communication.

Support Compliance: Help Auxiliary Boards meet state certification requirements through the West Virginia Hospital Association.

Engage in Leadership: Attend all Auxiliary Board meetings and participate as an ex-officio member, offering guidance and support.

Foster Growth: Provide resources and strategies to help Auxiliary Boards thrive and achieve their goals.

Plan Events: Collaborate with boards to coordinate sales, events, and fundraisers that support hospital programs.

Drive Fundraising: Develop initiatives to boost Auxiliary giving and increase financial support for hospital priorities.
Work Environment & Travel

Frequent interaction with hospital teams, Auxiliary Board members, and volunteers.

Must be able to attend meetings and events at varying times.

Travel required to different hospital locations within the region.
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in volunteer program management preferred.

Prior experience with nonprofit governance, event planning, or fundraising is highly valued.
Skills & Attributes

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of state requirements for hospital auxiliaries (or a willingness to learn quickly).

Flexible schedule to accommodate board meetings and events (including evenings/weekends).
