About the role
The Specialist, Sales Operations, Fire & Security France is responsible for increasing the business within the current customer Key Accounts base and opening new accounts in France (in the future also Benelux markets and Iberia), as well as having overall responsibility for business growth, product listing, pricing, rebates programs and attending exhibitions.
The person will focus mainly on PRO channel, selling to construction professionals, Installers, Integrators and Consultants.
Preferred location of a candidate is Paris area, France, however all relevant candidates, located elsewhere in France will be considered and are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage annual sales business plan.
- Pro-actively identify new and different business opportunities to provide increased sales. We are looking for a “hunter”!
- Stay up-to-date with all industry trends, issues and news.
- Ensure all business opportunities are managed professionally, cross-selling opportunities are maximized and all products obtain maximize focus and opportunities.
- Maximize all networking opportunities and other relevant meetings. Visit all customers as demand on regular call cycle.
- Manage the relationships with all contacts, including negotiating yearly contracts.
- Provide strong representation for the company at all times.
- Ensure strong internal communication to assist all departments in the company in understanding of the accounts, listings and pricing, etc.
Qualifications
- Education level (min. Bachelor) in relevant area (sales, engineering, or similar).
- Min. 5 years of proven track record in similar (sales) role.
- Min. 3 years of experience working in “Pro Channel” environment/sales.
- Excellent French skills + English on min. good level. Additional European language(s) (Italian, Spanish, Dutch) will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of security, access control, video control or similar technical portfolio – will be a strong advantage.
- Able to execute expansion tactics and meeting monthly sales targets.
- Ability to produce presentations and business proposals, and be an expert negotiator.
- Rapport and relationship building capabilities at commercial level.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Clear strategic mindset with analytical focus.
- Project management skills, problem solving, organizational and planning skills. Fast learner.
- Innovative, creative, results driven, able to work independently.
- Eager to hunt for new opportunities and grow the business.
- Willingness to travel frequently (around 30% of the time).
