Location: This position is a hybrid role, with 3 days onsite at our Home Office in Chicago (River North), IL.
Position Summary:
The Procurement Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all procurement activities across Puttshack’s US operations. This role ensures the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality sourcing of goods and services to support our venues and corporate functions. The Procurement Manager will develop and implement procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes. This position collaborates closely with venue leadership, the facilities team, finance, and external partners to support Puttshack’s growth and operational excellence.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
• Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies that align with Puttshack’s business objectives, ensuring optimal value, quality, and service from suppliers.
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for all goods and services, including equipment, supplies, technology, and capital projects.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, fostering collaboration and driving performance improvements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders—including facilities, operations, finance, and venue leadership—to understand business needs and deliver effective sourcing solutions.
• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Develop and manage the annual procurement budget, tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and identifying opportunities for savings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in procurement activities.
• Implement and optimize procurement systems and tools to increase efficiency and transparency.
• Support new venue openings and capital projects by sourcing and coordinating the delivery of required goods and services.
• Resolve supplier issues and disputes promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on procurement performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 8+ years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role, preferably in hospitality, entertainment, or multi-site retail environments.
• Proven track record of developing and executing procurement strategies that deliver measurable value.
• Experience with procurement systems and tools (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, or similar)
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Deep understanding of procurement best practices, market analysis, and risk management.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.

• High ethical standards and a commitment to integrity in all procurement activities.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPM) preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Physical activities on a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; frequent use of telephone/video conferencing and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting, up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.
