About the Role

Primary responsibilities are to:

• Provide students with quality and value-added education within a caring Christian learning environment.

• Undertake unit coordination of faith integration units and engage in lecturing and tutoring into integrative units.

• Undertake unit content preparation and coordinate and participate in marking of student assessment tasks.

• Facilitate excellent management of student welfare and support while undertaking their studies.

• Provide appropriate administrative support to the Head of School and other academic staff within the School to achieve efficient and effective operation of the School.

Selection Criteria

Qualifications and Professional Standing:

• Hold a Masters/PhD qualification in theology discipline.

• Comprehensive experience (ideally 3+ years) as a lecturer/tutor.

Essential:

• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement academic programs linked to good outcomes and high engagement.

• An understanding of current and emerging trends in integrating faith with discipline studies in higher education.

• Technological literacy in a wide range of desktop applications to support reporting and analysis role requirements.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, and confidence in presentations.

• Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
