The primary purpose is to take complete ownership of activities and resources related to ZICC SAP BASIS organization. Key accountabilities include -
• Maintain updated and relevant knowledge of emerging technologies and ability to evaluate best suitable solutions to meet Zoetis ERP needs
• Establish protocols for working with cross-functional teams to ensure the design, technical build, implementation, testing, ongoing support and operations of the SAP applications.
• Collaborate with ITS peers in determining requirements for Global system deployment and related business system support for System availability, performance improvements and Business continuity.
• Engage with hosting service provider and internal infrastructure team to enable the implementation, documentation, backup/system recovery, disaster recovery solutions for SAP and related systems.
• Manage and host regular status calls with external service providers to discuss status of open tickets, maintenance schedules, root cause analysis for service disruption and impacted SLA’s.
• Participate and provide support in technical emergency events and ensure resolution by engaging and coordinating resources across multiple disciplines no matter when the failure occurs, minimizing business impact and ensuring effective communications.
• Create and maintain production technical operation procedures (TOPs)
• Provides SAP Basis support in implementation of new projects, upgrades and migrations.
• Responsible for system performance tuning, critical job monitoring, daily system health checks.
• Coordinate regular high availability, backup/restore and disaster recovery exercises.
• Work with compliance to assist in processes and procedures that are in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Zoetis Animal Health Values, FDA & global regulatory guidelines (including cGMP/cGLP/cGCP), environmental guidelines, as appropriate.
• Work with internal audit to host and support ITGC testing for Zoetis SOX obligations and assist with other operational audits.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Provide the primary groups or key positions that this position will interact with as a regular part of the position responsibilities. Include any external interactions as appropriate.
• Interacting with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, understand business processes, and ensure that technical solutions align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Work with implementation partners who may be responsible for deploying, configuring, or maintaining integrated solutions within the client's IT landscape.
• Coordinate with developers and other members of the development team to implement technical system solutions, share knowledge, and address technical challenges.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Technical, System Administration, IT Infrastructure Managements or Business field
Experience:
• 8 or more years of Enterprise SAP Basis Administration experience with multiple full life cycle implementations, upgrades, and migrations
• At least 3 years of system/database administration experience
• At least 3 years of working in a cloud hosted environment.
• At least 1 years of SAP IT Project Management experience
• Thorough understanding of computer infrastructure and operations, including cloud-based solutions.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work in an unstructured environment.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills
• Experience in life sciences / pharmaceuticals industry preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Indicate the technical skills required and/or preferred, as applicable.
• Extensive experience with system administration of SAP systems in several or all of the following areas:
• Basis Administration, Change Management, System Architecture, Transport Management, system performance, analyzing, ABAP dumps, workload analysis, buffer tuning, database administration.
• Operating system (UNIX or Windows)
• Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MaxDB etc)
• Strong technical skills coupled with knowledge of, and experience in the following areas:
• SAP ECC, APO, MDG, SAP PI, GRC, NFe, Vistex & Hybris Commerce, MS Azure Integration, HANA/S4 HANA, OpenText, Onapsis
• Solution Manager and Change Management
• Landscape Design, Sizing, Installation, and Integration
• System Upgrades, Support Packs, Enhancement Packs and Disaster Recovery
PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Regular working hours are from 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST. (ICC Second Shift)
Sometimes, more overlap with the EST Time zone is required during production go-live.
