About the opportunity
This position will enable a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with experience or an interest in fertility to the perfect opportunity to provide quality clinical care to our patients and their families in our public fertility clinic at Mercy Hospital for Women. This role involves direct patient contact, data collection and the opportunity to interact with other health services, whilst providing holistic care to patients and their families.
Located at Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg, within the Outpatient Department
Fixed term position, 1 day per week
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, both within the Mercy and other external Health Services.
Support and educate patients through their fertility journey.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
Registered nurse or dual registration with AHPRA
Fertility nurse experience preferred but not essential
Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve
A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
