About the opportunity
Join our multi-disciplinary Women's and Children's team at Werribee Mercy Hospital providing quality client care with a focus on the individual feeding needs of term and preterm infants.

The Lactation Consultant partners with women and families to support breastfeeding at Werribee Mercy Hospital
The LC provides exceptional care via inpatient reviews and outpatient appointments.
The LC works within the Women's and Children's Division as part of the multidisciplinary team and enables knowledge sharing opportunities to the service to further support breastfeeding at Werribee
The LC provides structured in-services and study days for staff and facilitates breastfeeding classes to the community

Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
