About the opportunity

Join our multi-disciplinary Women's and Children's team at Werribee Mercy Hospital providing quality client care with a focus on the individual feeding needs of term and preterm infants.

• 0.6 EFT Parental Leave Cover 15/9/25-12/9/26

• The Lactation Consultant partners with women and families to support breastfeeding at Werribee Mercy Hospital

• The LC provides exceptional care via inpatient reviews and outpatient appointments.

• The LC works within the Women's and Children's Division as part of the multidisciplinary team and enables knowledge sharing opportunities to the service to further support breastfeeding at Werribee

• The LC provides structured in-services and study days for staff and facilitates breastfeeding classes to the community

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
