The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated individual to step into the role of Senior Forest Supervisor — a key operational and firefighting leadership position within the region. This role is responsible for managing forest operations and facilities, supervising staff and contractors, and ensuring the safe, timely and efficient delivery of forest maintenance activities.

About the Role
As Senior Forest Supervisor, you’ll assist with the coordination & supervision of a wide range of forest maintenance and fire preparedness activities. This may include vegetation control (e.g. roadside pruning, brushcutting), weed and pest management, plantation establishment, harvesting operations, roading/infrastructure maintenance, and the maintenance of facilities and firefighting equipment. Your leadership will play a vital role in supporting operational excellence and protecting our forests.
We would love you to have/be:
• Ability to lead and manage a small team & also work autonomously as required
• Proven organisational skills - ability to plan and prioritise work, meet standards and deadlines
• Knowledge and understanding of forestry management and protection, including weed and pest control, fire management - planning and suppression, silviculture, harvesting & roading operations
• Experience in all aspects of forest operations including operational and supervisory responsibilities
• Qualified and skilled in competent and efficient operation of plant (including fire tanker), chainsaw and other equipment.
• Capacity and willingness to undertake and coordinate fire management activities (at or above Crew Leader level), travel (mainly driving), work extended hours, and to maintain sufficient fitness for the job.
• Available to work weekends on a rotating roster for fire &/or compliance patrols
• Current Medium Rigid driver’s licence
