Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Westfield
Occasional Weekends: Optional, 1 Saturday per month

Position Summary:

The Patient Access Representative facilitates patient flow from entry to destination in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. This role is responsible for collecting and verifying financial and demographic information to ensure accurate records that support both reimbursement and clinical outcomes. This position offers long-term opportunity for growth!

Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting and scheduling patient appointments 

• Explaining departmental and hospital charges and policies

• Validating and entering insurance information into appropriate systems

• Collecting necessary payments

• Scanning medical records into electronic medical records systems

Qualifications:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED

• Preferred:

  • Relevant experience in a healthcare setting

  • Familiarity with medical coding (ICD-10, CPT)

  • Ability to interpret insurance information

  • Knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
